Is your child struggling with anxiety?
Learn how to support your child by responding to their anxiety
in a more effective way through the
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE)
program offered at West Coast OCD and Anxiety.

Parents who participate in the SPACE group will learn skills and tools to help their child overcome anxiety, worry, OCD, or related problems.
The treatment focuses on changes that parents can make to their own behaviour. They do not need to make their child change.
Two main changes that parents learn to make in the SPACE program are to:
-
Respond more supportively to their anxious child
-
Reduce the ways the family has been adjusting around anxiety
